Chess Minis lets you compete in real-time 1v1 matches using miniature chess sets, now available on iOS and Android

Classics F5 has announced the official launch of Chess Minis on iOS and Android, allowing players to enjoy classic gameplay with lofi beats in 1v1 real-time battles. Designed by a Blizzard and Riot veteran, the two-year-old game features adorable chess sets designed by a variety of artists from around the world.

In Jeffrey Shen’s Chess Minis, players can expect challenging puzzles without pesky ads that disrupt gameplay. These comprehensive chess sets allow players to collect rewards and unlock achievements as they aim to complete their collection of premium chess sets, gloves, and emotes.

The game features over 500 hand-crafted puzzles that will challenge players of all skill levels. Live matchmaking allows players to compete against like-minded people all over the world, as well as duel with family and friends locally. Players can also aim for the top of the leaderboards for the ultimate bragging rights.

As for the meticulously crafted chess sets, they also mimic the look and feel of miniature toys. You can also choose your outfit to intimidate your enemies, as well as study your own moves by recording your games for analysis. Plus, you can form exclusive teams to discuss tactics with the community (or even just play “paper scissors”).

If you’re eager to try out the game yourself, you can grab Chess Minis on the iOS app store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. You can take a look at the embedded clip above to get a little taste of the game’s vibes, visuals, and mechanics.
