New Miniature Coaxial Reed Relay for High Speed ​​RF Systems up to 3 GHz by Pickering Electronics


CLACTON-ON-SEA, England–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pickering Electronics, the reed relay company that has pioneered miniaturization and high performance for over 50 years, has released a new miniature coaxial reed relay for high frequency RF systems up to 3 GHz. Bulletin 113RF SIL/SIP reed relays feature 2mm spacing, allowing them to be stacked at very high densities.

Series 113RF Reed Relays are suitable for switching up to 10W, 0.5A. 1 Form A (normally open SPST) configurations are available with 3V or 5V coils with coil resistances up to 100 /300 ohms respectively.

At low levels, the typical life of the 113RF Series Reed Relays is over 250 million reliable operations. The relays use the highest quality instrumentation grade reed switches with ruthenium sputtered contacts and are ideal for automatic test equipment.

All 113RF Series reed relays feature an internal mu-metal magnetic shield to allow high-density stacking of relays without the risk of interference between adjacent devices resulting in faulty operation.
