Plainfield Fest kicks off Friday – Shaw Local


1) Plainfield Party will take place from Friday to Sunday in downtown Plainfield. The event will feature food trucks and live music for all three days. Saturday will also include a display of craft and bargain vendors, a balloon artist, pony rides, a petting zoo and a face artist. 2) Meet 19 members of the Romeoville Art Society from 5 to 8 p.m. on Fridays at the Art à la Cache of the Musée de l’Isle à la Cache, 501 E. Romeo Road, Romeoville. The artists produced a total of 57 pieces for the exhibition, including pottery, sculpture and poetry. 5) Families are invited to come Commons Game Day 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the New Lenox Commons.
