An arts and crafts exhibition was organized by the National Vocational and Technical Training Center (NVTTC) and the Institute of Arts and Design, University of Sindh (SU), Jamshoro, featuring miniature paintings, textile design and photography.
Arts and crafts training helps young people channel their creativity and skills in a way that helps them find their market or niche, said NAVTTC Karachi Director Nabeela Umar.
She appreciated the work presented by the students still in training and praised the efforts of the organizers.
Developing creative skills in a sustainable way can contribute to the socio-economic development of the province and the country, she said. Such exhibitions open up opportunities in related fields, she added.
Professor Saeed Ahmed Mangi, director of the SU Institute of Arts and Design, agrees. He said such activities motivate young creatives to hone their skills and talent.
