Intricate lines and trippy geometric patterns run through the tiny glass-blown snakes by Ryan Eicher. The Maryland-based artist projects smooth, colorful gradients, rainbow stripes, thin parallel stripes and criss-crossing helices into the snakes’ coiled bodies, a challenge given the structure of the patterns that change as they move. he shapes the forms. Each miniature creature is only a few millimeters wide, and many of Eicher’s more recent pieces feature a mish-mash of lines and shapes created with artists like Glass of the future and Emerson, among others. You can find details of these collaborative pieces at instagramand head to Etsy to add one of the little snakes to your collection.
